Comment policy
What happens to a comment you leave on a EuKreate article — what we publish, what we remove, and what we do with your email.
Every comment is moderated
Comments are reviewed before they appear. Once you have had a couple of comments approved, later ones publish immediately — though they are still screened, and anything flagged returns to the queue.
We remove discriminatory content, without exception
Real estate carries fair-housing obligations, and a comment thread on our own site is content we are responsible for. We remove anything that characterises who lives in an area, steers people toward or away from a neighbourhood, or describes a place as suited to a particular kind of person or family. This applies no matter who posted it.
We remove spam, abuse and personal information
Promotional links, harassment, impersonation, and anyone else’s personal details — an address, a phone number, a private email — get removed. Disagreement is welcome; the target has to be the argument, not a person.
Your email is for verification only
First-time commenters confirm a 6-digit code so we know the address is real. Your email is never published, never shown to other readers, and is not used for marketing. Your name and comment are public.
Links do not help anyone’s ranking
Every link in a comment carries rel="ugc nofollow", so posting one passes no search value. Comments containing links are always held for review.
You can have your comment removed
Email support@eukreate.com from the address you commented with and we will delete the comment and the reader record behind it.
The binding versions of these commitments are in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
